The Blue Collar Marketer

Marketing for the trades

Your schedule, booked solid.

I run Local Services Ads, tune up your Google Business Profile, and build a website that ranks. The leads land first. You start paying the month after they show up.

  • Leads before you pay.
  • Slow month? Refunded.
  • No contracts — fire me any month.
  • You talk to me, not an account manager.

That's my dad's drywall company in the Kansas City metro — my first client, relationship disclosed. Every number on this site has a dated screenshot behind it. See them all

How the deal works

Three steps. No kickoff deck, no ninety-day "strategy phase" while your phone stays quiet.

We do the math

One call. Your average ticket, your close rate, what a booked job is worth to you. That sets what a lead is worth — and what my retainer has to beat.

I build the engine

Local Services Ads set up right, a Google Business Profile that pulls calls, a website that ranks and converts. You approve everything. You own all of it.

Leads first, then pay

The leads arrive before your first invoice does. Slow month later where the retainer doesn't pay for itself? Tell me. I refund it.

The whole mechanism, spelled out

The proof, dated

22 charged leads in April. 51 in July.

Same drywall company, same town. The cost per charged lead fell from $46.66 to $40.02 while the volume more than doubled. Google's own dashboards, dated screenshots, no cherry-picking — the slow months are in there too.

And the timestamp that matters: the tracking container sat untouched from August 2024 until May 16, 2026 — the day the work started. Google's clock, not mine.

Built for your trade

No dentists, no lawyers, no restaurants — trades only. Same engine, different math: every trade page runs the numbers for that trade — ticket sizes, lead costs, what the guarantee means for you.

Who this is not for

  • — Franchises and private-equity roll-ups. You already have a marketing department.
  • — Anyone who can't answer the phone. I can make it ring; somebody has to pick up.
  • — Businesses that want social posts and a logo refresh. I sell booked jobs, not vibes.
  • — Anyone who needs it free forever. The first leads cost you nothing; after that, we do honest math and you pay for what works.

Find out where your leads are leaking

The audit is a phone call, not a sales deck. I look at your Local Services Ads, your Business Profile, and your website, and tell you what I'd fix — whether or not you hire me. I take 8 clients total. 7 spots are open right now.

Five fields, no essay. I call within one business day — usually same day.

Free. No contract. It's me who calls — not a sales team.

The questions everybody asks

I've been burned by an agency before.

Most people who call me have been. That's why the order is backwards here: I generate the leads first, and you start paying the month after they show up. If the work doesn't produce, you never write the check. No contract locks you in — you can fire me any month.

What's the catch at this price?

The catch is capacity. I'm one person, I do the work myself, and I cap it at 8 clients so every account gets real attention. My dad's drywall company holds the first spot, so 7 are open as I write this. When they're gone, there's a waitlist.

What happens if it doesn't work?

If a month is slow and the leads didn't earn your retainer back, you tell me and I refund that month. I can offer that because every lead is tracked to its source in a ledger you can see — there's no arguing about what came in. The full terms are on the guarantee page, in plain English.

Can you guarantee me leads, or first-page rankings?

Leads, yes — that's the whole offer: they land before you pay, and slow months get refunded. Rankings, no. Nobody honest guarantees a Google position, and the ones who do bury an asterisk under it. I'd rather guarantee the thing you can deposit.

Who actually answers the phone?

Me. Not an account manager, not a junior rep reading a script. The person who set up my dad's Local Services Ads, rebuilt his Google Business Profile, and built the website that ranks — that's who you talk to, every time.
